I cannot remember when I began working on Red Tales. It grew to the point of being unmanageable in my head, so I tried to rip out the separate story lines. Ultimately, I decided to stitch them back together, purchased a large sketch pad for a spacious 1998 calendar for keeping track of the stories, and rolled the dice to determine the non-Chicago teams win-loss-draw records. These tales will continue into the 1999 season and beyond so long as my brain has the imagination and power. Enjoy!
